1 Your Photos and AI Creations

Hidden Spirits only ever opens the specific photos you hand it through Apple's built-in photo picker — nothing is read from your library on its own. An image you choose may be reduced in size and sent to our processing providers, where automated AI systems turn it into the spirit, card, or video you asked for.

Uploaded images are securely transmitted to our AI service provider solely for generating AI content requested through the Service.

Only upload pictures you are entitled to use, and keep highly sensitive details out of an image unless it is genuinely required for what you want to create.

When a photo includes a face

Several features turn a photo of you into a stylized spirit or short video. If the picture you pick contains a face, our AI may read the facial and visual characteristics within it for the sole purpose of producing the result you requested — nothing more.

That analysis is never used to recognize you, confirm who you are, follow your activity, compare you to any database, or assemble a faceprint or biometric profile. We neither sell facial images nor any data derived from them. Original photos and the temporary data created while generating your content are kept only for as long as it takes to deliver that content and run the Service, consistent with the "How Long We Keep Information" section.

2 What We Collect

We collect:

• uploaded images;
• prompts; and
• device information.

Things you give us

• Images and media. The picture you select to summon a spirit or build a video is processed and uploaded so we can carry out that request.
• Prompts. We collect text prompts, style choices, templates, and other instructions you provide to create AI-generated content.
• Messages you send us. When you reach out with feedback, we keep the text of your message along with what we need to link our reply to your account.
• Payment details. In-app purchases run through Apple. We may learn the product, transaction, currency, price, and purchase status, but never your full card number.

Things gathered for us

• Identifiers. Identifiers may be generated or received to support device-based sign-in, keep your account consistent, guard against fraud, and keep the Service running.
• Activity and creation records. This can cover generation task IDs, the spirits you summon, the features or templates you pick, processing states, your gem balance, collection and history entries, timestamps, and technical logs.
• Measurement and attribution. Through Adjust we look at installs, ad attribution, campaigns, and purchase events. Depending on your device settings and the law, this can include device, advertising, network, campaign, and event details.
• Diagnostics. We may record your app version, operating system, connection status, errors, and comparable technical signals.

3 Why We Use It

The information above lets us:

• generate AI spirit images and videos and hand the finished content back to you;
• set up and keep your device-based account, spirit collection, and creation history;
• keep things secure, head off abuse and fraud, and fix problems;
• gauge attribution and make the Service better; and
• meet legal duties and uphold our terms.

4 Who We Share It With

Sharing happens only where it is necessary, and only with:

• infrastructure and AI providers who host, store, and power generation and delivery;
• Adjust, for attribution, analytics, and purchase-event measurement;
• Apple, for distribution on the App Store, in-app purchases, and platform features;
• advisers or authorities, where reasonably needed to follow the law, protect rights and safety, look into abuse, or answer lawful requests; and
• any successor entity, as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset sale, with suitable protections in place.

No personal information is sold.

5 Your Controls and Rights

Where you live may give you rights to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or limit how it is handled.

• The app provides controls to remove supported generation records and saved spirits.
• Your iOS privacy settings let you restrict advertising tracking.
• You can write to us with a privacy request, though we may first need to confirm your identity.

6 How Long We Keep Information

We hold on to information only as long as it is reasonably needed to run the Service, stay secure, settle disputes, and satisfy legal requirements. Your generation history may appear in the app for a limited window, while spirits you save into your collection can stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

How long we keep something depends on its type and the systems that handle it. Copies held in backups may linger for a short while longer before they are erased.

7 Keeping Information Safe

We apply sensible administrative, technical, and organizational measures meant to safeguard information. Even so, no transmission over the internet or means of electronic storage is ever perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

8 Data Handled Across Borders

The providers we rely on may handle information outside the country you live in, where data protection rules can differ. When the law calls for it, we put appropriate safeguards around these international transfers.

9 Children

Hidden Spirits is not meant for children under 13, or under whatever higher minimum age the law sets. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone below that age. If you think a child has shared information with us, let us know and we will review and remove it where appropriate.

10 Updates to This Policy

This Policy may change over time. When it does, we will publish the new version here and refresh the effective date, and for significant changes we will give any extra notice the law requires.
